At Luktupfah Muay Thai school we offer fully accredited Muay Thai teacher certification by the Kru Muaythai Association (KMA), accredited by Thailand Ministry of Education.
The KMA is the World’s leading Kru (Teacher) certification system for Muay Thai and Muay Boran. Setting a high standard for Muay Thai practitioners and those dedicated to the art.
The KMA follows the 19 Khan grade system for student and teacher levels.
All certified Kru’s will be part of the Kru Muaythai Association (KMA) and have their profiles listed on the KMA website, along with Certificate, Mongkol and Prajeet.
Being part of the KMA, means being part of our global muay thai teacher’s network and community, with invitation to the annual world wai kru ceremony held every March in Thailand and much more.

For those interested in the course it is recommended that you have 2+ years experience in Muaythai as a student, fighter and/or coach
The course will cover (but not limited to) the following:
- History, culture, traditions and respect related to Muaythai
- Knowledge of famous fighters, Masters (Krus) and Historic figures in Muay Thai boran
- Be able to explain the Wai Kru, Mongol and Prajeet
- Muay Thai techniques
- Muay Boran techniques from basic to advanced
- The KMA Wai Kru Ram Muay
- Muaythai judging, rules and scoring
- Fighter preparation and cornerman duties
- First aid
- Professionally instruct, display techniques and hold pads
- Learn Thai terminology of movements and numbers
- How to teach, hold exams and grade your students using the KMA curriculum
- How to maintain KMA membership
